Green Hospitality Initiative

Green Hospitality Initiative

The Foundation was awarded a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to manage the Green Hospitality Initiative which helps green restaurants in New York City.

The focus of this grant was to:

Promote energy conservation.

Promote water conservation.

Reduce the use of hazardous waste material.

To do all of the above while helping restaurants become more profitable as they green their restaurants.

While this grant is no longer being administered, the resources of the Green Hospitality Initiative are still valuable tools that serve the grant's original mission.
